Rooted in community.
Supported through flowers.
Creating spaces where healing is possible.

Who We Are

U Grow Girl exists to help women who survived child sexual abuse experience that healing is real and possible.

We are survivor led.

Centered around our Time to Heal Retreat, we create opportunities for women to feel seen, understood, and supported as they discover what healing, hope, and connection can look like beyond the impact of their trauma.

Through education, community connection, awareness initiatives, and our flower farm, we help create pathways that encourage women to reach for support when they are ready.

What Makes This Work Distinct

What makes U Grow Girl different is not that we have all the answers.

It is that many of us have walked this path ourselves.

We understand the courage it takes to reach for healing because we know what it means to carry experiences that can feel impossible to explain.

Everything we create is built through that lens.

We are built on lived experaince.

And we believe women deserve access to healing that protects dignity, honours choice, and allows them to move at their own pace.

How We Work

We believe healing should not depend on timing, circumstance, or someone being ready the moment support becomes available.

As a nonprofit society, we help sustain this work through our flower farm, community fundraising, partnerships, grants, and donations — all working together to help keep healing opportunities accessible for women over time.

We create opportunities that do not require disclosure and have designed our retreat to  honour readiness, connection, and choice.

A Family Contribution

U Grow Girl was built through the belief that healing should be held in community.

Our family donated the use of the land where our flower farm and community fundraising events take place, and continues to contribute time, labour, and resources in support of survivors working to create healing opportunities for others.

The flower farm has become more than a fundraiser. It creates opportunities for connection, conversation, awareness, volunteering, and community involvement while helping women discover the support available through U Grow Girl and the Time to Heal Retreat.

Like many families, ours has been deeply impacted by the realities of child sexual abuse and the pain it can carry across generations. Because of this, our family believes deeply in the importance of creating spaces rooted in hope, healing, and connection for women who are walking this path.

No family members receive remuneration for the use of the land or farm infrastructure connected to these fundraising efforts.

What Matters To Us

The way we do this work matters to us.

We believe women deserve to feel seen, not exposed.

We do not ask women to share their pain to prove it happened.

We do not believe healing should require urgency.

We believe people deserve the freedom to move at their own pace and choose what feels right for them.

Everything we create is built with dignity, care, and hope.

Rooted in Land & Community

Our work is rooted in care for the land, the community around us, and the environments that hold this work.

Through sustainable growing practices, local partnerships, and community involvement, we believe stewardship and healing are deeply connected.

We acknowledge that our work takes place on the unceded traditional territory of the Secwépemc Nation.
